The Journey to Creating WOOD masterpiece
Wood is a challenging material�difficult to process hard to maintain in consistent quality and prone to warping with changes in temperature and humidity. Achieving precise acoustic performance required countless trials and advanced audio engineering. Yet we remained steadfast in our pursuit of the unique qualities only wood can offer. In 2008 our dedication bore fruit with the development of wired earphones featuring Wood Diaphragms.
Following that we kept refining materials and shapes to pursue the ideal sound. In 2025 we unveiled a new Hybrid WOOD Diaphragm combining delicate rosewood fragments with wood-based pulp. It represents the pinnacle of JVC�s aspiration for the ideal tone: WOOD masterpiece.
